I managed to have a headache with writing all this in English @_@
I hope this will be helpful to you, so you can see how I use Paint Tool SAI and you can gain some tricks (I don't think so but let's see...)

Done especially for two friends of mine who wanted to learn how to use this wonderful program!

Luv ya!

Ask me anything, even if I'm not reeally an expert of SAI.
I use it just because it's lines are so SMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUTH *___*

Great tutorial, but I have a question. Do you know how to make a greyscale image on SAI? I've looked around the internet, but I can't seem to find out how.

I found out that "Layer" -> "Luminance to Transparency (O)" gives a grey scale sort of effect, though you need to make sure you won't use the layer anymore, because it will make the layer slightly transparant on the colors beneath the layer. (if that makes any sense xD)

Hmm, I think I understand what you mean. I'll have to try that out sometime soon. Thanks!

you'll see what I mean if you put a layer colored layer beneath it and continue coloring on the "now transparent" layer :) it will have a different color :P

how did you do the effect in photoshop and give it a nice blurry glowy effect?

It's long to say... I created a new layer putting toghether all the layers, so I had a layer with the entire image.
Then I put it UNDER all the layers, and I blurred it with the Blur photoshop function, that you find in the filters :)
